This week’s picture was drawn in pen (unipin), scanned and coloured in Photoshop. It is very loosely based on DaVinci’s portrait of a lady with an ermine, and if I’d had the reference around, I might have had fewer problems with the sleeve!
Comments and critique are always welcome.

I like this very much. I’m not familiar with the technique of coloring in with Photoshop. I have PS Elements & primarily use it to prepare scans & photos for the web or printing. I like your color selection & the painterly quality you have achieved.

Thanks. I tried for some continuity of colour – borrowing from one section to start the colour for another, etc. I think my photoshop is elements – or maybe one or two up from it. Not the full-scale program.

I was out of the picture last week, so to speak, so I missed this one. It’s great! I love the Lady with Ermine reference.
