At sunset, the snails unfurl their shining wings and dip slowly over the surface of the pond.
Ballpoint drawing coloured and treated in Photoshop.
That is wonderfully silly! I like the way your mind works!
As my mother would say – you ought to try living with this brain!
A lovely and absurd thought.
Thanks, Susan :)
So charming! It’s also clever how your initials and the year are reflected in the water.
Thanks crisitunity! I had fun doing that – there’s a few techniques and textures in here that I want to try again.
This is delightfully surreal, love it!

Thanks! The image of this as your desktop background adds an extra degree of surreality.
So beautiful! I kind of want to write something about it to further justify its existence …
Silly, funny, pretty pretty colours and nice textures.
I do love this one. The snail seems to be enjoying itself immensely. The captioning reminds me a bit of Gary Larson.
And the engineer in me wonders where the wings get stowed, that shell is too small – maybe up the back in the shed.
Thanks :) I suspect they are of incredibly fine membrane and are given shape using technology similar to that developed by Bruce Wayne.
