Here are all the 2019 calendar art pages in one place.
They are brought to you with the support of my patrons over on Patreon. They get calendars early-ish, sneak-peeks, behind-the-scenes, occasional comics, and journal extracts: more here.
October (cold hands) has probably been the most popular ones, particularly on Redbubble. I do like it very much, especially as a repeating pattern, and I think it’s one of the best, but mostly I’m still slightly startled that I was responsible for it.
My personal favourites are currently down the centre of the image: I don’t do much architecture, so the floating castles pleased me. The beer-drinking fiddle-playing squirrel amuses me very much. The density of the floral ground in the woodland sceneis satisfying. Scissors, like pigs, are hard to draw, and these definitely read to me as scissors.
The 2018 round-up, for comparison.
Stunning. Every single one of them. So so beautiful. It’s very difficult to choose a favorite, but March has it by a hair.
Thank you so much! I really enjoyed just slightly shifting the stories in that one.
