In true 2020 style I celebrated the day by being very unwell and having to get swabbed for the virus (and also being on the World Fantasy Award shortlist — it’s been a rollercoaster).
But I’m so happy this book is now out in the world!
Both my publishers have been wonderful (and look at those covers!), but so much credit goes to the team at Tor.com, especially Ellen Datlow, my editor, who let me get away with nothing and yet so much!
